  1. Benito Pablo Juárez García (San Pablo Guelatao, Oaxaca, March 21, 1806 - Mexico City, July 18, 1872) was a Mexican lawyer and politician, an indigenous Zapotec, President of Mexico on several occasions (1858-1872) . It is known as the "Father of the Americas." [1] Benito Juarez is famous for his phrase "Among individuals as among nations, respect for the rights of others is peace." [2]

Benito Juárez lived one of the most important times in Mexico, considered by many historians as the consolidation of the nation as a Republic. Juárez was a turning point in national history, being the protagonist of the first level of this time. His biography in the years he held the presidency is almost entirely the story of Mexico.
