Directed by Nick Cassavetes, this adaptation of author Nicholas Sparks' bestselling novel revolves around Noah Calhoun's (James Garner) regular visits to a female patron (Gena Rowlands) of an area nursing home. Rather than bore her with the inanities of everyday life, Calhoun reads from an old, faded notebook containing the sweeping account of a young couple (Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams) whose love affair was tragically put to a halt after their separation in the midst of World War II. Seven years later, the couple was reunited, and, despite having taken radically different paths, they found themselves unable to resist the call of a second chance.

This movie is one of my favorite movies because I find it extremely romantic, and as I consider myself a romantic person, I enjoyed it a lot. I really like the way this couple fell in love to each other and the kind of relationship they used to have when they were young.

The first time I watched it, I didn’t figure out that the old guy narrating the story to the lady with memory lost problems was really the young Noah Calhoun. When I got to the point that the plot of the story reaches that part, I broke into tears (to be honest). I really love this movie.

If you haven’t watched it yet, I recommend watching it this Monday or Tuesday that we don’t have class. Watch it lying on your bed with some popcorn and a relaxing environment. You will love it!

Michael Newman, an architect too busy trying to advance and have time for his wife Donna and their two children, buy a remote that apparently not only serves to control your TV and stereo, but all his life. Michael quickly becomes addicted to this rush of power that allows you to stop, rewind and speed time without stopping to think that sooner or later must suffer the consequences.
I liked this movie a lot, as it shows a fictional reality of how things would we do if we had a remote control which will control the time, actually gives us a great lesson in life and we must never live life so fast that in less unexpected when you're old and without having done something meaningful with your life

I don´t like in the movie is the part where the main character forgets his family for the work, because it shows a current reality of families, the good thing is that eventually reconsiders and realizes that nothing is more important than a united family.

The acting of Adam Sandler, Kate Beckinsale was excellent, really shook me certain parts of the movie, like the scene where he dies of a heart attack and his family goes and cries in the middle of the road with the rain, until I left the tears of the intensity of the scene so I would put a ten in acting.

Click the movie rate it a ten because besides being a great comedy, it also gives us a great lesson in life, and has its moments of drama, for me it has everything I love this movie.

    TOY STORY 3

The creators of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 re-open the toy chest and bring us back to the gang. Andy has grown up and ready to go to college, causing concern for Buzz, Woody and the rest of the band for their uncertain future. Directed by Lee Unkrich (co-director of "Toy Story 2" and "Finding Nemo," "Toy Story 3" is a hilarious new 3D adventure that lands them our friends in a nursery full of wild kids who immediately put their sticky fingers in their "new" toys. They try to stay together in this chaotic situation by ensuring that "no toy is left behind." Meanwhile, Barbie Ken know in person (yes, that Ken).

I enjoy this movie because is very funny. Also the special effects are very good, and the creativity of artists to translate their ideas into great characters.

What I do not like this movie was the end, because I would have liked the Andy to stay with all their toys and they were for their children.

I qualify this film as: ****

Monsters, Inc. is the largest company in fear of the monster world and James P. Sullivan is one of the best frightened. Sullivan is an imposing figure with blue skin covered with purple spots that looks two horns, and whom his friends call Sulley. Mike Wazowski, his Deputy Scarer, besides his best friend and roommate, is a green monster, stubborn, wrong and very funny. Scaring children is not as easy a job as the monsters they think they are highly toxic and can contact them in any way. The eclectic cast also includes President and slim partner of the company, a crab-shaped monster named Henry J. Waternoose, the receptionist Celia, a lovely snake-headed monster, and the sarcastic chameleon named Randall Boggs, who wants to wrest the title of Top Scarer Sulley. Boo, a little girl, enters a world where no man had dared to come so far and sowing chaos behind it.

I love this movie because is very funny, and the characters are adorable.

The ugly realities of prison life are quickly introduced to Andy: a corrupt warden (Bob Gunton), sadistic guards led by Capt. Byron Hadley (Clancy Brown), and inmates who are little better than animals, willing to use rape or beatings to insure their dominance. But Andy does not crack: he has the hope of the truly innocent, which (together with his smarts) allow him to prevail behind bars. He uses his banking skills to win favor with the warden and the guards, doing the books for Norton's illegal business schemes and keeping an eye on the investments of most of the prison staff. In exchange, he is able to improve the prison library and bring some dignity and respect back to many of the inmates, including Red. Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is a divorced, retired from the CIA, who wants to spend more time with her 17 year old daughter Kim (Maggie Grace), who now lives with his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) and the new rich husband Stuart (Xander Berkeley). Kim travels to Europe without permission from his father Bryan, and she was kidnapped by a gang of prostitutes traffic, Bryan just recording conversation and your skills as a special agent, rescues his daughter from the hands of a big mafia.

I really liked this movie because the Essenes of action does not end at the beginning of the movie.

My Essene favorite is when bryan meets the kidnapper of the recording and say, remember me? ... I told you I would find and kill you ... and starts a fight between Bryan and 12 Albanian gangsters, Obviously Bryan won the fight.

You must see this film, caution is not apt for people whith heart disease.
